Arnold and I have been together for 7 years. With two kids ages 6 and 5, we’ve decided last year to finally tie the knot to give our sons, Matt and Yahre, the happiness that they so deserve.
The first person I told about our plan to marry was Ate Joy. I met Ate Joy three years ago at a cooking contest where we both vied for the top place. Her team won 2nd place, and mine 3rd.
To cut the long story short, we became friends. What’s best about our friendship is that our respective husbands and children get along well, too. We hang out and go to places if our time permits it.

Ate Joy is into wedding planning and hosting business while her husband (John) is into photography. Both offered their services for free for our wedding. They did not only help us in the wedding rites and reception, they walked the extra mile by helping us in the wedding preparation such as reception venue hunting, pre-nuptial pictorial and even threw a surprise bridal shower for me at their place.

Needless to say, we are overwhelmed by their generosity and love. We didn’t expect that they will do all those help all in the name of friendship and love because we’ve just been friends for such a short time.
